Los teckel o daschund, popularmente llamados perros salchicha, tienen tres variedades de pelo y tres de tamaño, formando 9 razas diferentes que componen el grupo 4. En el teckel es correcto hablar de miniatura porque es una variedad aparte, que se expone como otra raza, se registra como otra raza y no se cruza con los standard. No es un nombre de marketing como sucede con otras razas como los malteses o yorkshire. Un teckel miniatura pesa hasta unos 5 kilos, mientras uno standard pesa unos 8 a 9 kilos. En el standard FCI de la raza el criterio no es el peso sino el perímetro torácico, pèro damos el peso como orientación porque así nos hacemos más a la idea del tamaño del perro.

Tenemos Teckel miniatura de pelo largo actualmente porque el teckel es, de todas las razas con las que hemos tratado, la que más nos llena en todos los sentidos. Tienen un carácter ideal, les gusta mucho jugar, son muy graciosos, los cuidados del pelo son muy sencillos incluso para exposición, las camadas no dan muchos problemas, son fáciles de educar si tú tienes las cosas claras, son realmente preciosos, son manejables, no son nerviosos, son muy cariñosos, se adaptan igual a la vida en un piso con paseos regulares que a vivir en el exterior, no tienen en general graves problemas de salud, etc.

No recibimos visitas ya que tenemos los perros en casa, no nos dedicamos profesionalmente a esto y no tenemos planeada ninguna camada en bastante tiempo. Estamos muy ocupados con nuestro trabajo en otro sector, nuestros tres niños, nuestros perros, y el cuidado y disfrute de los mismos.

In this case it´s not a marketing name as maltese or yorkshire. A miniature Teckel weights to 5 kilos, and one standard 8 to 9 kilos. In FCI standard the size depends on the torax, but with the weight we know better what size we are talking about.

We have Miniature Long Hair Teckel because is our favourite breed between all that we know. They have an ideal character, they love to play, they are like jokers, the hair care is easy, even with the show dogs, the litters have not many troubles, they are easy to train if you have clear ideas, they are beautifull, handable, they can live in a flat if you go walking with them regularly or they can live outside in a garden, they are not nervous, they are are lovely, they have not serious health problems, etc.

We don´t receive people because we have the dogs in our house, we are not professional, we have not planned litters in many time. We are very busy with our work in another sector, our children and dogs, and taking care and enjoying them.
